Thanks to all of you for writing, and I'm glad you're enjoying SIEGE! (Although I decline responsibility for any book-induced marital friction it may have caused.) I too have often wondered why there are not more historical fiction novels about the fall of Constantinople: I just tried to do this incredible event justice. And as to Chris's question about what's next: I'm currently working on a trilogy about the Crusades. EAGLE, the first in the trilogy, comes out next March. I hope to get back to the characters from SIEGE, and the amazing city itself, in the not-too-distant future. All the best, Jack
