Hi Jack, just read "Eagle"-great read, but just two minor corrections if I may be so bold!! 1)Page 96-"scythe", is 2 handled with large blade at right angles to handle, "sickle" is what John was using(Wikapedia has good pictures) 2) Celsus AD 200- described Cataract treatment as practiced by Romans. Oculists instruments have been found in many archaeological sites in the U K. Even possible that Chinese, Indians and Greeks could also do the same. Regards, Phil Rowbotham.
