Hi Jack Hight I have read Siege and Part 1 to Eagle and thoroughly enjoyed both books: you certainly bring history to life and there are characters in the stories whom I both love and admire, and who I hate and despise! My favourite was Siege as it was the first book I read from you and I loved how Constantinople really was under threat of total destruction to the Ottomans and it was up to the individuals on both sides to determine the coming events. In Siege my favourite character was John as displays courage and a loyalty I have never seen in any book. Whatever you are doing, keep doing it! You are my favourite author and I am desperate to read your next installment! Maybe after you have finished the Eagle Trilogy, maybe you should do an entire different angle: perhaps the Romans invading Gaul, or the Saxons against the Celts or maybe the Spanish Conquistadors battling in the New World. The thing I love about your books most is how you develop your characters that I can really relate to. As I live in the Middle East, in an Islamic world, I could relate to how John and Yusuf (Or should i say Saladin) felt when they were trying to get to Tell Bashir, or when they were battling out in the desert.
