Jack, I feel privileged to have been able to read not only Siege, but now to have completed all three books in the Saladin Trilogy. You have managed to craft an exceptional piece of reading, with sympathetic characters set in a brutal time. I was quite sad as I came to the final pages of Holy War, but in a few months times I shall return to Eagle and work my way through the fantastic story once more.
